Band of Rascals – Tempest

self-released VÖ: 13. Oktober 2018

Vintage Southern Blues with a modern twist – there’s somehow ZZ Top popping up, or Danko Jones and a couple of Stoner-Rock-Bands when listening to those Canadians. Band of Rascals created the perfect soundtrack for a long trip with their new EP “Tempest” . It fits nicely when being stuck in traffic … or if you wanna chill at a party, or if you wanna rock out.

The first track “Holler” alone might seriously get stuck in your ear&brain forever, so be warned of the video clip below… About 24 min of ear candy that makes sitting still impossible, I bet everyone has at least to tap along – even with those rather slo-mo / ballad-like (Altitude, Reaction) and the acoustic Country-inspired song “Fell Into The Love of You”.

Which means listen to it, enjoy, buy it (via band website) – and keep your eyes open for tour dates because the Canadians will be visiting Europe for the first time in the beginning of 2019 …

By the way, the EP was produced by Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Arkells, Monster Truck) in Bryan Adams’ studio The Warehouse.
