Dune Pilot: Wetlands

At the beginning of 2013, Christian Schmidt (guitar) and Georg Bruchner (drums) from Munich, Germany, formed the band Dune Pilot. Later, the Georgian, SH, on bass and the Swiss, Andris Friedrich, (who is also the singer of Slowdrive) joined the band. Now, the four guys release their debut album. The listener is treated to ruthless Desert-Stoner-Rock – skillfully played, featuring quite a few guitar solos and a fantastic sound. When it comes to the vocals, I can only say that Andris Friedrich has a very interesting, great voice. And he uses it in his very own way to make the songs complete. It’s a well-done album, which old and new fans of the genre will most certainly like.
