Venomous – Tribus

Brutal Records        release: February 26th, 2021

Usually I’m not to eager on reviewing EPs, yet here I need to make an exception. The Brazilian melodic death metal band Venomous presents a versatile sound on ‘Tribus’, combining classic and modern metal with Brazilian regional rhythms and aggression. And there’s also Prog, growls, clean vocals and blast beats, all mixed together to form an exciting release. It’s simply fun to listen to those melodic-symphonic tracks, all well done. Sometimes it’s even too much of different elements to spot and listen to, e.g. the opening track. But that’s just an invitation to listen more closely. Great display of the band’s skill set. Check them out!
