Kremlin – Kremlin

Label: Svart Records    release: October 7, 2016 016

After the good impression this band has left live (CONCERT REPORT), I decided to check out their debut mini album as well, containing “New Wave of Southern Space Rock” (according to the band). And also in this form their Rautalanka / 60-70s / Flowerpower music sounds quite appealing. You can hear that the band is rooted in Blues even in their more psychedelic songs. The keyboard channels Deep Purple / Uriah Heep, so do those catchy choruses, performed by a smooth voice – just like those good old Hardrock classics. The final track World is Coming Down delivers some epic powerful riffs, taking you back from this musical time travel. Well done, check those guys out. o

Kremlin are:

Olli Laamanen – Vocals/Bass
Antti Hirsiaho – Guitars/Backing vocals
Tuukka Tervo – Synths/Effects
Mikko Virtala – Drums
