Northern Underground Tour: Evestus, Evra, The Physicists
8. 6. 2016 Semifinal, Helsinki
Three metal/Industrial acts from the North touring through 5 Nordic countries, plus appereances on certain gigs by My own sorrow (SWE), Kill the sleeper (SWE), Without Voodoo (DK) and Hearteater (DK), and under the banner of Findustry, which pretty much guarantees excellent entertainment – so surely I had to check out the Helsinki gig.
In the middle of this tour der you could notice some effects already, yet the local heroes The Physicists did not show any of those on stage. Well, admittedly it is difficult to distinguish their usual weirdness and bizarre show effects from tour insanity 🙂 Once again a highly entertaining experience how quant physics can be translated to Rock’n Roll. As I had watched Evestus before, I knew that this Estonian trio delivers a package of good songs and appealing presentation. And no disappointment here – an energetic and intense gig fitting nicely to the music, which I would describe as closely related to Nine Inch Nails and The Prodigy. Bandwebsite
And then another evening featuring high quality entertainment was over, a bit earlier than expected, as the Danes Evra had cancelled their show that night – a pity, therefore here a video clip to make up for that… Bandwebsite
