Re-Armed from Kerava, Finland, can soon celebrate their 20-year band anniversary. Right from the start they got into the Melodic Death Metal genre. They also put Thrash metal into the mix which creates their quite unique sound. Therefore the fourth studio output of with Re–Armed is quite aggressive and keeps up the speed. A Finnish speciality is to still keep it melodic so that despite all the aggression and in-your-face attitude, all the song material is quite ear candy. They add some musical reference to Finnish culture, a spoken part in Finnish, or other gimmicks like a touch of Industrial (The Hollow Lights). The Beyond the Horizon chorus is so damn catchy and also Voyager is an instant-sing-along.

Musically, there are good ideas to produce variety and you notice also a certain connection with Finnish colleagues in the genre or also Gothenberg icons. Which should be understood as a stamp of quality. And another Finnish act you simply need to add to your collection as a fan… People who like e.g. early In Flames, Children Of Bodom, Omnium Gatherum or Bloodred Hourglass simply need to check this band out.
