Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu

“Once a lone bounty hunter, Mandalorian Din Djarin and his apprentice Grogu embark on an exciting new Star Wars adventure.”
Hell yeah, high time to see those 2 on the big screen, and hopefully not for the last time, because in my opinion this movie could potentially become as legendary as Rogue One.
However, there always will be “fans” spotting things to complain about – well, in short, I didn’t and rather feel like watching this one happily over and over again, just like the TV show … In the spirit of the latter, the bounty hunter narrative has an episodic nature, the Mandalorian working for the Rebel Alliance this time. What a pleasure to see Sigourney Weaver starring in another big franchise, here as a Rebel commander. The exciting and entertaining story does not rely on those Western gunslinger tropes – you feel transported into real-time reality on occasion, story-line and setting-wise, and you get to see how Grogu is indeed slowly growing up … Surely the “bringing in cold” catchphrase is dropped in the usually legendary manner – you need to be patient, though. 🙂
There are lotsa new exciting – and partly utterly terrifying – adversaries, but many old friends (and foes) pop up as well, and the easter egg hunters surely spot many of those besides notable cameos even I noticed right away.
In short, this movie is a must-see, because This Is The Way.
