Preview: Katatonia will light up this year´s winter with their tour!
Swedish grand seigneurs of gloom, KATATONIA, are preparing to embark on an epic headline tour of Europe and the UK this winter! The tour, which kicks off on November 11th in Tampere, Finland, will visit a total of 31 cities and end on December 20th with a grand finale in Stockholm, Sweden.
KATATONIA released their triumphant Napalm Records debut Sky Void of Stars in 2023, which wowed critics and fans alike. The album, which topped several soundchecks – including Metal Hammer (“Another jewel in their crown, no doubt”) in Germany – showcases their brilliant, genre-bending fusion of melodic death metal and atmospheric post-rock. Following the release, the band joined Sólstafir and SOM on an extensive headline tour across Europe and the UK.
Now, in 2025, it’s time to bring KATATONIA’s haunting brilliance and signature vibrant darkness back to the stages! With special guests Evergrey and Klogr, this package is the perfect way to get in the mood for the long winter nights!
Vocalist/founding member Jonas Renkse adds: “We are very happy to announce that we will be touring with our friends from the West Coast Evergrey and Klogr from Italy. Once the summer is over, we’ll be gearing up to bring the biggest and best yet. See you in the fall!”
