Preview: Jo Quail – a woman, a cello & a loop box rock the stage in UK

The above displayed photo was taken by Helen Goodier .

My music is born of every single thing I see, hear, feel, imagine, dream and also forget…” is what Jo Quail states about her own music.

And this is exactly what you can also hear when you see her in concert – when she, her electric cello and a loop box own the stage like it was a band full of cellists. When she shows the audience how much more a cello can be, than “just” a classical instrument, and how much more than simply playing you can do with it to create a whole soundscape that draws you into another dimension and gives you goosebumps all over.

After recently touring with “God is an Astronaut” (and doing so soon again) and the Norwegians of “Wardruna”, she now announced a headliner tour in her home country, the UK.
