Citizen Soldier isn’t just a rock band – it’s a voice for those battling their inner demons. This alternative rock group from Utah combines powerful guitar riffs with raw, honest lyrics about depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and the struggle for self-acceptance. Lead singer Jake Segura – a licensed clinical therapist – brings real emotion and lived experience to every line.
Tracks like “I’m Not Okay,” “Would Anyone Care,” and the iTunes rock chart-topper “Burden” say what many are afraid to – creating a space where listeners feel seen, heard, and less alone.
