Motörhead – Obituary

And we should pay respect to another Motörhead musician who has left us – guitar player, born 23 October 1949; died 9 July 2011.
Maybe it’s time to share a personal memory: all I wanted was to take a pic of him backstage at Donington Festival, UK, don’t recall the year though 😉 … but as I have never been a real STALKER, I asked for permission first, then: “oh, this young lady wants a photo” he yelled, grabbed me, someone grabbed my camera, and voila – I got a photo I never intended to have… will always remember so-down-to-earth attitude and his kindness.

The other photo I really wanted to have, and although Mr. Kilmister was busy meeting & greeting lotsa other people, he immediately took time for posing with me. Therefore I will remember him as a very kind, approachable and patient person as well. Too bad that the dude who took the pic of Lemmy + me was too drunk to focus the lense…

In other words, editor-in-chief, translator, website and ad admin, "Jane of all trades" - - - addicted to books (everything between Lord Of The Rings & quantum physics) and music, mainly Metal made in Finland. Furthermore, there's painting, drawing, movies, theater... so you can expect some variety on this website too. MA Master of Arts, English and American studies & Media communication = completed two full studies parallel within 5 years; very proud of my achievement - a bit later in life thanks to a scholarship - as a working class girl in a highlyconservative-romancatholic nation...
