FB1964 – IRISH STEEL

Label: Bornkamp   release: March 2019

Your are looking for an album for die upcoming festival season, something to sweeten a long journey by car or to enjoy on the camping site? Well, this might be the perfect solution. And you are donating for a good cause when purchasing the album.

FB 1964 alias Frank Badenhop has created a concept album before with „Störtebeker“. Irish Steel presents the core team Frank Badenhop (guitar), Dethy Borchardt (guitar Licks), Mirko Gätje (bass), Michael Wolpers (brums) and Becky Gaber (vocals / back vocals) playing Rock or Metal versions of Irish traditionals and two The Pogues cover songs. The list of guest vocalists alone speaks for the quality as well as the stylistic variety, from Metal attack to power ballad:

Sérgio Faga – Iron Maiden cover band Children Of The Beast, the former Bare Infinity singer Angel Wolf-Black,  the former Sister Sin singer Liv Jagrell and the most prominent contributor, Ronnie Romero, the voice of Rainbow in the last couple of years.

And there are many more guest musicians who contribute their talents, e.g. also for the instrumentals with mandolin, Uilleann Pipes and flute.

All sales go as a donation to regenwald.org, and you can purchase this CD via this WEBSITE (where you can also find a photo gallery of all contributors) or via bornkampstudio@aol.com.
