Findustry: Khroma, Crib45, Oceanwake, Everfall, Black Sleep

4. 6. 2016 Bar Bäkkäri, Helsinki, Khroma Stasis album Release Party

Black Sleep from Turku opened the evening with a sound somewhere between Industrial / Gothic Rock and Metalcore – not bad. Their first gig in Helsinki ever, so I felt sorry for them that not so many people had arrived yet. Listen to them here

Everfall from Estonia could present their set to a bigger crowd. Although rather related with Melodic Death, some Metalcore influences also here – another band worth to check out.

Not much to say about Crib45 – great as always, and even on this small stage Into The Abyss had once again this creepy effect, although back then on the Vernissa stage it was much creepier.

Oceanwake from Luvia presented their atmospheric doom-like epic Metal which reminds of e.g. Opeth, Swallow the Sun or Callisto with equally doom-like lights-and-mist effects. Not good for photographers. But it added to the intensity of the show.

Apropos intensity: Not much to say about the headliner Khroma – they released this great new Electronic / Noise / Core album Stasis and returned from a 30 gig tour, therefore it was time to unleash the beast, and to party of course. Great gig, as always – a big thanks to everybody who made this Findustry event possible.
