Demorphed – Garden of Bones

Label: Bloody Bastard Records; Release Date: 12/2015; Running Time: 24 min

Something massive, gloomy is coming from the area around Pforzheim, Germany, to play with our bones. “Garden of Bones” is the name of the first output of the five guys… ah, no! Four guys and one girl, calling themselves “Demorphed”. Largely in the style of older Morbid Angel, and I think I can also identify influences of Vader and Massacre. Of course, Demorphed do not invent the deadly wheel here once again, but at least they present a very precise and quite variable work. Especially the powerful “Full Spectrum Domination” and the closing track “Return to Sirius” have impressed me. “The Question”, however, did not quite convince me, yet as a debut release Garden Of Bones is definitely a successful start.

Tracklist:

01. – Intro
02. – Garden of Bones
03. – Full Spectrum Domination
04. – Interlude
05. – From Beyond
06. – The Question
07. – Return to Sirius
